Cushion facing are used on the ends of your rail rubbers and rail. The cushion facing protects the adhesion of the rail rubber to rail it self as well as protect the rail when balls are pocketed. These highly durable Cushing facings are also installed to tighten the decrease the pocket window in return making the window for pocketing balls smaller. The Red facings are made up of styrene-butadiene rubber while the black cushion design is made out of neoprene rubber.  This Red variation of facings come standard as a 70 durometer reading while the black facings come in at 60 durometer It is Recommended to replace these whenever you replace your rail rubbers.
