Predator Revo Carbon Composite Uni-Loc Break Cue shaft
Predator Revo cue shafts are the latest in billiards technology and precision.
The Revo Shafts feature an aerospace-grade carbon fiber composite incorporating more than twenty years of technological development and examination. The stiffest of all Predator shafts, REVO shafts feature the lightest front end mass, the lowest rate of rising taper (REVO 12.4 = 8%, REVO 12.9 = 5% over the first fourteen inches), excellent radial consistency, and exceptional long-lasting construction resulting in the most accurate cue shaft in the world at both low and high speeds. REVO shafts feature the smoothest finish, most spin, and unyielding durability available.
Predator REVO Carbon Fiber Cue Shafts.
After almost a decade filled with experimentation and improvement, the destiny of cue sports has arrived. Predator Cues has introduced the REVO carbon fiber composite shafts. Refined and produced at Predator Cues research and development department near Boston, Massachusetts, Predator REVO shafts stand at the top of accuracy and performance.
The Carbon Composite Difference.
The Predator REVO shaft offers more of what pool players demand more precision, more spin, more consistency, more comfort, and more durability.
Predator REVO shafts set a new norm for performance.
REVO shafts feature a carbon fiber composite build and ferrule-less architecture, REVO shafts have the lowest front-end mass and highest stiffness rating that Predator Cues has ever achieved. The results Predator Cues has obtained are Pin-point accuracy along with a lower deflection at both high and low speeds, ultra-efficient energy transfer, and effortless spin, allowing for improved cue ball control, and ultimately controlling the table.
The REVO shafts will never warp, and the shafts ' ultra-smooth surface is highly resistant to dings, dirt, and the wear and tear that pool cue shafts see during their lifetime.
REVO Front-End Construction
Vault Plate
Predator Cues patent pending Vault Plate re-configures the tension points between the Victory Tip, V-TEK Tip Silencer, R2 molecular multi-density foam, and carbon fiber composite tube to create a structure that is stronger from every axis. The REVO shaft accomplishes all this along with less mass and a higher level of kinetic energy transfer.
R2 Molecular Multi-Density Foam
The R2 molecular multi-density foam fills the shaft with multiple densities at precise positions to increase or decrease stiffness allowing the transfer of consistent feedback to the player 's hand.
V-TEK Fiber Tip Silencer
The V-TEK Tip Silencer creates a more durable and more tactile gluing surface that preserves the Vault Plate, while creating an audibly pleasing sound upon contact with the cue ball.
REVO Carbon Composite Construction
Unidirectional Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber Tow
Woven fibers have long been the demanded standard of carbon fiber construction, but they are not necessarily the best for every application. Predator Cues has long understood both the strength and the role of carbon fiber weave. However, modern advances in fiber technology and production methods have led Predator to take a distinctive design procedure. Earlier, a woven fabric was the standard for the external covering of any carbon component. Now, new aerospace-grade carbon fiber tow construction methods and new fiber placement theories allow Predator Cues to tune the shaft by conforming the carbon fiber tow in the directions most suitable for a particular location in the cue shaft itself.
Low-Rise Taper
The low-rise taper is the result of the REVO shafts ' unique construction and strength. This construction method allows for a remarkably straight taper increasing only five percent on the REVO 12.9 and eight percent on the REVO 12.4, over the first fourteen inches of the cue shaft.
Low-Friction Surface Finish
The remarkably smooth and maintainable REVO shaft exterior, created by Predator Cues, specially developed carbon fiber polishing method. This process involves measuring the shaft 's surface using a diamond stylus profilometer. Predator Cues regulate every cue shaft and maintain a strict tolerance they call Predator 's surface finish motif . This finish motif keeps Revo pool cues shafts from being either under polished (creating a less than the desirable coarse finish) or over polished (creating a glossy or sticky surface often exhibited on low-quality fiberglass composite shafts).
More Spin Less Deflection
Victory Tip
The Predator Victory Cue Tip consists of eight layers; each tip is created to demanding standards developed to maintain maximum concentration for the entire life of the pool cue tip. Its high-contrast color allows for improved sighting and shaping.
More Performance
Predator REVO shafts present improved rotation and precision than their spliced siblings. Through their unmatched combination of strength, stiffness, and low-mass, Predator REVO carbon composite shafts allow players to play more spin at any velocity, with not only less effort, but with the most consistent hit in the world.
